1. Free Trial
InstiQ offers a free trial period upon registration. No payment is required during the trial. The trial automatically ends on the expiry date, after which a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service. No refund is applicable for the free trial period as no charge is made.
2. Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your InstiQ subscription at any time from within the app or by contacting support@instiq.in.
- Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will continue until the end of the current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after cancellation takes effect.
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period — see Section 3 for refund eligibility.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are considered under the following conditions:
- Within 7 days of first payment: If you are a first-time paying subscriber and raise a refund request within 7 days of your initial payment, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Service outage or technical failure: If InstiQ experiences a service outage lasting more than 48 consecutive hours and you are unable to use the platform, a pro-rata refund may be issued for the affected period.
- Duplicate payment: If a duplicate charge was processed due to a technical error, a full refund will be issued for the duplicate amount.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Requests made after 7 days of the billing date (except in cases of service outage or duplicate payment)
- Partial use of the subscription period
- Change of mind after the free trial has already been used
- Accounts suspended due to violation of our Terms & Conditions
- Downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan mid-cycle
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@instiq.in with the following information:
- Your registered email address
- Institute name
- Payment date and transaction reference (if available)
- Reason for refund request
Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
- Upgrades: When upgrading to a higher plan, a pro-rata charge is calculated for the remaining days in the current billing cycle. The new plan takes effect immediately.
- Downgrades: When downgrading to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the difference in the current cycle.
